Beginners Dutch Course
During classes you will focus on basic skills like:
- Dutch Alphabet and Pronunciation: Learning the sounds of the Dutch language and how to spell simple words
- Basic Vocabulary: Acquiring essential words and phrases used in everyday situations
- Grammar Basics: Understanding simple sentence structures, verb conjugations, the use of articles and plurals of nouns
- Introducing Yourself: Learning how to introduce yourself, ask and answer basic questions about personal information
- Everyday Expressions: Using common expressions for greetings, farewells, and polite interactions
- Numbers and Dates: Counting, telling time, and discussing days of the week, months, and seasons
- Shopping and Directions: Vocabulary and phrases for shopping, asking for prices, and giving or understanding directions
- Cultural Insights: Gaining an understanding of Dutch culture, traditions, and social norms

Case Studies
I worked with cast members of Stage Entertainment musicals like The Lion King, Alladin, Tina Turner, Aida, Frozen and at the moment Moulin Rouge. I help the performers with their language skills and make sure that the rhythm, pronunciation, and intonation of their lines are how they should be.
I teach language courses at Webster Leiden Campus, the only institute for Higher Education offering American-accredited degrees in the Netherlands.
